I am heartbroken, no more riding 4 wheelers or my jeep out there. Guess I will have to start going other places with my family. We sure did enjoy it out there for the last few years. Good memories and good fun. Why cant they just leave well enough alone. Sure we could still go ride there but we enjoy the exploring part of it not just follow the designated route. Thats boring, but as all things in this world we are forced to conform and accept the decisions made by a few that affect many. Its summertime now and my son sure loved to go ride out there with me and get muddy and just have a good time. I?m not going to go have a good time and have to run from the rangers and show a bad example to my son just because we want to have a good time. So enjoy the trails, You can find me somewhere else, IN THE MUD!
I think we are all upset about this we are told that hunters will get trails opened for them but we can not use those trails.
This is a policy started under Clinton that Bush allowed to keep on track. In other states they have even pulled up forest service roads. We are lucky we don’t see that here ‘YET’. What we need to do is to have all the state ATV groups join together and start a movement to get new trails built in more places in north la. Winn says they can build trails but have no money. I understand that a state fund exist to build trails but the money is being used to build walking trails.
