Those ‘troughs’ were at one time part of a maintenance shop and they were used to
to change oil, adjust brakes, etc.

I used to be in the national guard and I’ve been in and worked in a building on Camp Beauregard that was built “back in the day” and it had those troughs for doing work on vehicles like I mentioned in the post up above There was no ramp in that building either. I’ve been to the location that those pics were taken and you can see where an entrance to the building was at one time. As a matter of fact, on one end ot the trough you can see the top step going down and it looks just like the troughs in that building I worked at on camp beauregard.
