The Great Camp Livingston Trash-Off

PINEVILLE— The U.S. Forest Service, CENLA Pride and partners are encouraging groups, organizations and volunteers to participate in the Camp Livingston Trash-off. “Dumping and littering on national forest lands remains a terrible problem” said Gretta Boley, Kisatchie National Forest Supervisor. “We are beginning a new campaign to clean up Kisatchie.” Ms. Boley went on to say that Saturday, October 7 will be the beginning of a new era and new attitudes. Volunteers should plan to meet at the south gate of Camp Livingston at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, October 7. The meeting location is north of Pineville just off U.S. 165 north. Watch for all of the activity.
