Camp Livingston Louisiana

Comment on Shooting is not allowed in the Camp (36 CFR 261.10(d)) by Patrick.

I am confused about this issue. I have been told that shooting has been banned in the camp, yet I have run into hunters out there and there are no signs posted one way or the other. I took my family out there for a hike last weekend and we had to leave because it sounded like a war was going on with all the shooting. Could you please clarify this?
