Camp Livingston Louisiana

I was stationed at Camp Livingston in 1945 with IARTC (training center). I was in charge of a flame thrower demonstration in front of 200 young soldiers sitting in the stands when a Lt. took the flame thrower and pulled the trigger. The flames shot out over the stands but thankfully no one was hurt. I never saw the Lt. again, I suppose he was shipped out to the South Pacific. Sgt. William Hooten
